Intro

The Resolution Gardens(RG) YARD FARM(YF)  
provides individual homeowners with a small
farming operation with which they may;

1 – contribute to their own food needs

2- contribute to the supply of local produce

3- reap some financial returns

This info sheet assumes the standard YF bed of 50’x4’

The Process

1-Site inspection with RG and homeowner to determine ideal location for bed

2- A date is determined for installation

3- Homeowner and RG round up volunteers, friends, neighbors to help

4- RG staff supervises and instructs volunteer labor on installation day

5- YF is maintained by either/or owner and RG

6- Produce is harvested, transported and sold to market by RG

7- Revenue is divided between upkeep, owner and RG

The Particulars

The labor needed to install (dig) a 200 sq. ft. garden is the greatest cost.
The ideal model for Yard Farming involves a community effort similar to
 a barn-raising where a group of friends and neighbors comes together to
 help you get the farm going. 10 volunteers plus you, plus RG staff is the
 ideal number of people needed.  With 10 volunteers we anticipate a 2 hour 
project. RG may occasionally have our own volunteers to contribute, but
 the preferred source is your friends and neighbors.

The Price - $850

Revenue sharing from produce sales is adjustable 
depending on % of maintenance  work done by owner 
vs. % of maintenance work done by RG.
